Lucidchart alternatives, and how to take your diagrams with you
Choosing where to draw next is the easy half. Getting years of diagrams out in a form you can still use — on your own brand, in your own deck — is the half that stalls the migration.
Straight answer first: rediagram is not a drop-in Lucidchart replacement. There is no canvas and no dragging boxes around. It does two things: it writes a diagram from a description, and it converts diagrams you already have — both onto your brand. If you want to draw by hand, pick one of the tools below and use this for everything else.
What Lucidchart is genuinely good at
Lucidchart is one of the strongest collaborative diagramming tools available: real-time multi-user editing, solid enterprise administration, and an import path from Visio that actually works. If live collaboration across a large team is the requirement, it is a reasonable place to stay.

The part the other lists skip
Lucid exports to Visio .vsdx, which this reads. One caveat we would rather state than have you discover: Lucid's .vsdx export writes no connection bindings, so shapes come through and the lines between them do not. The conversion says so explicitly rather than handing you a diagram that looks finished and is not.
